I heard Bobby Conner once say,
“Adapt the method but do not change the message.”
God is wanting to do something new! He is preparing a people for a great harvest. We must adapt and change our methods to gather the coming harvest.
God is going to bring fresh ideas, anointing, vision and purpose. Do not look to those around you or get your ideas from websites or Pinterest. Look to the Heavenly Father for new fresh ideas straight from his throne. His ideas will surpass any that you could ever Google or copy from others.
"I urge you, then, be imitators of me."
(1 Corinthians 4:16 ESV)
Listen! God wants to speak to your heart and renew you with a fresh vision. When you walk in God's ideas then and only then will the blessings flow and not by following others ideas and visions. He wants to be your leader and for you not to be a follower of man but a follower of Him.
"Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ."
(1 Corinthians 1:11 KJV)
When you hear from God, GO! Do what he says to do and don't allow anything or anyone to stop you. Some may not understand the vision God places inside of you and that's OK. God didn't tell them to do it, he told you to do it.
Harvest is coming and it will last only a short time. It's time we stop doing things a certain way because "we've always done it that way." or "why change if something works?" "Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; ..."
(Ephesians 5:1-2 KJV)
When my children were little I made up a song we would sing together as we watched the tractors in the fields cutting down the corn. We sang:
It’s harvest time, It’s harvest time, Cut it down, Scoop it up, And dump it in the big dump truck.
Cause it’s harvest time,
It’s harvest time!
It’s time to cut down what is stopping us from growing a crop, so we can scoop up a good healthy harvest to bring into the Kingdom. God is calling a people to rise up and adapt their methods so they can best get His message to a lost and broken world. Cause, it’s harvest time and the Lord needs you.
"Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved."
(1 Corinthians 10:33)
