Don't Give Up

2017

God is preparing His Bride. He desires to show Himself mighty in and through her–us. He wants to show us His faithfulness. He wants to place us on the solid rock of His promises to stand secure in Him. He is a promise maker and a promise keeper. We are safe in Him.

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

(Psalms 18:2 ESV)

Nothing God has spoken will return void. His promises are yes and amen! Don’t give up!!! Hold tight to the promises that have been spoken over your life and watch God Himself breath life into them.

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.”

(Hebrews 10:23 NIV)

Choosing to believe what God says whether you feel it, see it, or understand it is the foundation all faith rests upon. 

Know God is working behind the scenes in your situation and for your good. He is a faithful Father who loves you more than you can fathom. He is making beautiful diamonds out of dust.

Oftentimes the enemy will try to weigh us down with heavy loads so that we become distracted, especially as we are waiting for answers to ongoing promises and breakthroughs. 

It’s like carrying heavy backpacks of hope deferred as we track up the treacherous mountain of delayed promises. Deferred promises make the heart sick. Therefore, we may find ourselves unnecessarily, and even subconsciously, trying to carry these burdens that Jesus never intended for us to carry. However, we are told in the Word that His yoke is easy, and His burden is light.

“For My yoke is easy [to bear] and My burden is light.”

 (Matthew 11:30 AMP)

God is faithful! We can lay our backpacks down at His feet and let go. He has a way of turning around what you thought was a loss into more than you could ask for or dream about. He turns our mourning into dancing and makes beauty out of ashes. He is a promise keeper!

Don’t give up! 

Keep going, even if it feels like you’re going nowhere. God has not forgotten you and He is making a way where you see no way. His plans are for you, to prosper you, and not for harm. He will give back everything that was taken away and MORE.

“To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.”

(Isaiah 61:3 NLT)

Hold fast to God’s promises, seek His face, and know that no matter how things look right now, something amazing is on its way! Your miracle is right around the corner! It is better than anything you could’ve ever asked for! God is doing CPR into the empty shell of your dreams. He WILL bring your promises to life.

“For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are [all answered] “Yes.” So through Him we say our “Amen” to the glory of God.”

(2 Corinthians 1:20)

No matter what you’re walking through right now... don’t give up! You’re gonna be ok!
