“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1 ESV)
In my study time with the Lord, I was reading in Matthew chapter three. I was in deep intercession about my personal destiny and future, as well as for the corporate body of Christ. As I was reading, the words on the pages of my Bible popped out like blocks on the page and came alive.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God…” (2 Timothy 3:16 ESV)
In a vision before me I “fell” into His Word. Like Alice in Wonderland fell into a hole in the ground, so I fell into God’s Word like nothing I have experienced before. I don’t even recall what verse I was reading and praying through in Matthew 3, but as I hit a certain verse, It came to life.

“I am the Gateway. To enter through me is to experience life, freedom, and satisfaction. A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!” (John 10:9-10 TPT)
The words on the pages of my Bible grew and stood like doorways in front of me. Each letter was a passageway. Not the word as a whole, but each letter of each word was its own separate gateway or tunnel. The scriptures were doorways that looked like train tunnels.
“The earth and sky will wear out and fade away before one word I speak loses its power or fails to accomplish its purpose.” (Matthew 24:35 TPT)

I stood looking at the “letter tunnels'' before me in awe. Once I was able to get over the shock, I chose a letter-type door and walked through the open entryway. I could see light on the other side of the tunnel and walked to see what was beyond. As I intently focused, straining my eyes to see what was on the other end, my feet slipped underneath me.
I hit a slippery patch on the ground that made me fly forward. Like a conveyor belt, people mover at the airport, or a super sonic launch pad on a video game, I had a boost of forward fast moving power. The boost of power propelled me toward the end of the tunnel.
I stood seeing both ends of the tunnel. At one side of the tunnel I looked to see the room I had just come from and on the other side was my next step–my future. I knew by the spirit the location in which I stood and couldn’t believe that I got there so fast. The tunnel through God’s Word was the entry into my future–my expedited destiny. In amazement, I wondered what was in the other letter tunnels that I didn’t go through yet? If this was on the other side of the passageway of one tunnel, I was beyond excited to find out what else was in store for me through the other gateways.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jerimiah 29:11 ESV)
As I walked through the tunnel, I had the understanding that the verse I was reading, when the vision took place, was a verse I had prayed in intercession from years past. God’s word, that I had spoken out, created a net that I threw into my future. Like a fisherman throws out a net and pulls in fish, so my prayer/God’s Word was a net I threw out and it was pulling me forward. Instead of a fisherman pulling the fish to them, this net I saw was pulling me instead. God’s Word was pulling me into my destiny with force. I saw how His Word was alive and actively pulling me continuously forward to where He needed me to be.
“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12 ESV)
I knew that the Word of God I spoke out of my mouth, like an arrow, had hit a point in time where it would now manifest. On that arrow was a net pulling me forward. Once it hit the point in time in which it was to manifest, the tunnel/doorway opened, and I fell into it. As I was reading in Matthew, the words I spoke hit with a force and blasted the tunnel open. Those same words I shot out long ago in prayer. I now read that same verse and was able to reap the harvest of what was cast out years before. I was pulling in the fish, or the net was finally pulling me, to the place and time in which I had interceded for in years past. God’s word never returns void and always produces a harvest if we don’t give up.
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9 ESV)
The realization that what I had prayed for long ago was now coming to pass overwhelmed me to tears. God’s words that were sent out like arrows actually did open pathways that I would one day be able to walk through. This gave me such hope and joy!
“So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11 ESV)
As I stood in the grass on the other side of the doorway, through His word into my future, I laughed uncontrollably. Peace and joy washed in, through, and around me. I thought in my mind how I would never be able to see the Bible the same again. His word is without a doubt the lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. His word is a door, pathway, and tunnel into the future–my future, your future. His word is alive and active, creating pathways for each of us to follow.

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20 ESV)
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105 ESV)
Like Alice fell into a hole and ended up in wonderland, so we shall reap the years of prayer and intercession of God’s word in due time. Not by striving, but by abiding. With a confidence in Him and a secure understanding that He is in control. I now am using God’s word in a different way–with precision. It is as if I am learning to wield my sword in a new way so I can have sharper precision and aim.
“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.” (Ephesians 6:17 ESV)
I have a new found depth to the revelation that whatever we cast out of our mouth is like an arrow flying into our future. Attaching God’s Word from the Bible and declarations to the words we speak, releases a net to the arrow of our words which pulls us forward into the doorways He has set before us. When the harvest is ripe, the tunnels of His word will open and create a door for us to walk through.
“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” (Job 22:28 KJV)
Never think for a moment that God is not moving and working. He is pulling each of us forward into His purpose and for His glory. Try to not allow doubt to enter as you await your blessing. Remember that whatever we cast out WILL bring forth a plentiful harvest in due time. He is calling us into a deeper revelation of the power of blessings that can flow from our mouth.
“The unfolding of Your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple.” (Psalm 119:130 ESV)
I encourage you to dig into God’s word and look for the entry ways to Him; the doorways for this season and for this harvest on your timeline that have been laid out by the Father. As you find the verses that are doors for this season, walk through them and give Him praise. I also challenge you to use God’s word as a netted arrow to cast out into the future as seeds in the ground for later harvest and ripe blessings.
“I will place upon his shoulders the key to the treasures of David’s palace. He will open doors that no one can shut, and he will shut doors that no one can open.” (Isaiah 22:22 TPT)
“And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.” (Revelation 14:15 ESV)
Don’t miss what is in front of you by looking to the past or by not noticing the doorways that He is opening right in front of you for this season. Don’t let fear, doubt, insecurity, or your own words/curses stop you. Don’t miss the open doorways by looking for or wanting something different than God’s perfect time and best. Cut off expectations of what you want and surrender to His will instead. As expectations go, His word will come to life as you yield to Him.

“In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?” (Psalm 56:4 ESV)
Boy, was I surprised during my Bible reading when it literally came alive before me. I didn’t think I would ever see a tunnel while reading Matthew in the Bible, but I fell into what He wanted to show me and not what my expectations or mindset thinks should happen. He was showing me a new depth to what I already knew. I now saw with a new view the importance of casting out His Word and standing firm on His promises. Once I activated or touched the verses that had been sent out years ago by reading them once more, I slipped right through the doorway into my destiny with a boost of power from on High. Like a slip-n-slide, I zoomed right to the other side of the gate with ease.
“So Jesus went over it again, “I speak to you eternal truth: I am the Gate for the flock.” (John 10:7 TPT)
He is life, the gate, the entry point, and pathway to all things. We have the ability through God’s Word to see it, say it, and walk though it. Since He is the Word, He is the way–the tunnel to our destiny. Everything is through Him and by Him. As we focus on Him, pathways to our future will open. His word will stand forever!

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” (Isaiah 40:8 ESV)
