Position for the Presence

July 2020

The Lord spoke to me with such power and said,

“It’s time to position for My presence.”

Over the last few weeks, I have sensed an overwhelming excitement in the spirit realm. For a while it seemed the noise would cloud the celebration, but the static is clearing and those who are listening shall begin to tune into the sound of Heaven. It’s now time to get into position.

For days I have been hearing a vibrant whistle. A whistle calling those listening on the watchtowers higher.

“He will raise a signal for nations far away, and whistle for them from the ends of the earth; and behold, quickly, speedily they come!”

(Isaiah 5:26 ESV)

The whistle sounds like the kind of whistle I used to hear my Kentucky friends use out in the country. The whistle where you put two fingers in your mouth to blow. The whistle that always pierced my ears and caused me to cover them.

“I will whistle for them and gather them in, for I have redeemed them…”

(Zacariah 10:8 ESV)

A loud whistle blowing with a resounding call to come up higher above all the noise. Like the static on a television screen that clears, so shall it be for those watching on the walls. The noise is clearing and you will now be able to hear the loud call to fly higher.

“I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the Lord says and how he will answer my complaint.”

(Habakkuk 2:1 NLT)

When the Lord spoke to me and told me to “position for the presence,” I was taken back in time. I was shown a vision of myself getting dressed for a church service. I was picking out my clothes based on my excitement for the upcoming service. I felt the anticipation of that moment all over again.

It was back in the 90’s during the Toronto and Brownsville revival move that swept across our land. Our region in Owensboro, Kentucky also had a major move of God blow through during that time. It was the kind of move that when you went to church, you had no idea how long you would be there, if you would dance for hours on end and sweat buckets, or cry at the altar all night. Most services, I had to be carried out of the meetings due to being so intoxicated by His presence.

I learned that I had to begin to dress for the presence. I picked out clothes to wear that covered any parts I didn’t want seen as I danced, that breathed and didn’t show sweat stains, and makeup was not even an option because I would just cry it right off. I began to come expecting God to move and dressed ready for His presence. I began to adapt to fit His move instead of dressing to impress others. I came prepared and positioned for His presence.

“Stay dressed for action and keep your lamps burning and be like men who are waiting for their master to come home from the wedding feast, so that they may open the door to him at once when he comes and knocks.”

(Luke 12:35-36 ESV)

As the Lord began to speak, I knew that we are now stepping into a time where we need to begin to get ready for His presence and prepare. He is calling us higher into His presence and it’s time to get into position (physical and spiritual). We must get ready to contain His glory and power. It is now time to get dressed in clothes that can withstand His presence.

“Now you're dressed in a new wardrobe. Every item of your new way of life is custom-made by the Creator, with his label on it. All the old fashions are now obsolete.”

(Colossians 3:10 MSG)

The static is clearing and those who hear the sound will make themselves ready, pick out the clothes of righteousness, and fly higher in Him. They shall not focus any longer on the noise of the world, but tune into the sound of His presence. They are on the watchtower and will feel the excitement and anticipation in the air.

“I will greatly rejoice in the Lord;  my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation;  he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.”

(Isaiah 61:10 ESV)

Many have asked me what my take is on certain recent dreams and prophecies that tell a doom and gloom future. The first thing I say is, “Isn’t it so exciting? It’s the awakening of the Bride!”

“Awake, awake, put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; for there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean. Shake yourself from the dust and arise; be seated, O Jerusalem; loose the bonds from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion.”

(Isaiah 52:1-2 ESV)

I, as well as many others, have seen pieces of what has already come and to come. But, I have also seen what is behind the noise. Things may not get back to normal for some time and we do need to listen to the Lord for direction on how to prepare. Things probably will get worse in the world, but that is why we MUST awaken and listen for the whistle of Heaven to come up higher. We must put on the garments of strength, shake off the dust, and arise to see things from a different vantage point.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.”

(2 Timothy 3:1 KJV)

In these days, we have a choice; either get distracted by the static, or get excited. I choose to see Heaven’s prospective and hear the cheers and roars. I hear the chains of slavery breaking off the body of Christ. Man made parameters and systems are falling so that God can put things back the way He originally designed. The strings that have held the Bride down are now broken and she is awakening. Something massive is about to be birthed and the time is NOW to prepare and get dressed for the presence.

I was shown in a vision the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and was instructed to go on a mission with Jesus. The speedway was one of many stops on a week-long adventure with Him. I won’t go into the details, but as I went to the exact spot I saw myself standing during this encounter, I was overwhelmed by His presence. I stood only where I was instructed by the Lord to stand. I then looked up to find that I was standing at the finish line. I stood there staring at the finish line, completely in awe of the Lord. Supernatural signs followed that were confirmation that what I saw in the vision and was sent there to do, was in fact coming to pass.

“I keep running hard toward the finish line to get the prize that is mine because God has called me through Christ Jesus to life up there in heaven.”

(Philippians 3:14 ERV)

We are coming to a finish line. It is now time to prepare our hearts for what is to come. Heaven is cheering, it’s about to break forth. The water has broken. Birthing pains are here. The baby of revival is on it’s way and it’s time to get ready. It is time to position ourselves for His presence.

According to the dictionary, the word “position” means:

ree

It is important that we tune into the sound of Heaven and hear/see above the noise of the world. I encourage you to look past the smoke screen and see from God’s view. As you lock away and spend time with Jesus, He will show you what is on His heart. Focus on Jesus and not the noise. Listen for the sound of Heaven and what is rising out of the mess.

“And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of mighty ocean waves or the rolling of loud thunder. It was like the sound of many harpists playing together.”

(Revelation 14:2 NLT)

Birthing is a messy and painful process. The pain must come so the baby can be born. It is not fun being pregnant those last few weeks before the baby arrives. Those last few weeks and days seem to drag on a lifetime. It is extremely uncomfortable and the early  signs of labor are painful. Then, the water breaks. The pains intensify as the body contracts and pushes the baby out of the womb and into the world.

“So David came to Baal-perazim, and he defeated them there, and said, “The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” So he named that place Baal-perazim (master of breakthroughs).”

(2 Samuel 5:20 AMP)

The water has broken in the spirit and the pains may intensify, but the baby of breakthrough is on it’s way. Pack your hospital bag. Position and prepare. Get dressed in the garments of praise which shake off the heaviness. Look past the static so you can hear the whistle to come up higher and see the finish line from Heaven’s perspective.

“to grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

(Isaiah 61:3 ESV)

Position yourself for His presence. It shall be like nothing we have ever seen before, so get ready. Old ways will have to be shaken off as we move into the new. Many things will not cross over into this new season. We have watched a massive wave of personal revival during this pandemic and shall now see it globally. The harvest is coming. Revival is now being birthed!
