While going about my daily tasks, I looked up to see a shadow. The shadow looked like stripes on the wall. They were in color order that went from shades of black to white. It looked like a black to white rainbow.
Then, the Lord gave me understanding on what the rainbow meant. He showed me many people that were holding onto promises. They were promises from God that have seen little to no progress. It was as if their promise rainbow had faded and become black and white instead of in full color. They had no hope of their rainbow finding the light of day.
If this is you, and you feel that you have promises unfulfilled with no color, KNOW that Jesus IS working behind the scenes to bring life to those dead, unforgotten, or impossible promises. Your rainbow shall become colorful once again and shine with promise. What looks black and white right now, shall burst forth with vibrant colors.
Even if you can’t see it now and your rainbow may be totally black and white to you, Jesus is behind the scenes working on your promise to make it colorful.
“Christ says “YES” to all of God’s promises, so that they become TRUE. So when we pray , we say “YES AMEN”!, because we know that Christ has DONE IT. And when we do that, we are saying that God is GREAT.”
(2 Corinthians 1:20 EASY)

A rainbow forms its colors as the sun shines at the right angle on droplets of water. Just like a rainbow in the sky, so our Father will shine on your promise and create a rainbow full of hope. If it seems like your rainbow is lifeless and you see no movement, draw close to the Son and let Him shine on you. Become a reflection of His light.
The Lord’s timing is perfect and His ways are not our ways. As the weather pattern forms for the most beautiful rainbow in the sky, so shall your life align in this season and produce beautiful colors. I declare that the sun will come through the clouds and you will see your promise fulfilled.
“For nothing will be impossible with God.”
(Luke 1:37 ESV)
“Hold onto the promises of God and WAIT FOR IT...it will NOT delay! We are crossing over into a suddenly season.” –Bethany Huff
Just because your rainbow may be behind clouds of fog right now, the clouds are moving and the sun is shining. Don’t give up! Don’t let the clouds make you think your rainbow is gone forever. It will shine forth and be better than you could ever imagine.
“For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.”
(Habakkuk 2:3 ESV)

If hope deferred has made you feel lost, overwhelmed, lonely, depressed, angry, disappointed, etc…, I encourage you to seek the face of Jesus. The Lord doesn’t lie and always keeps His promises. In His time, your rainbow will flourish and become colorful.
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life.”
(Proverbs 13:12 ESV)
PROMISE
Promises,
God promised,
They’ll come to pass,
Promises,
God promised,
They’re on their way.
Hold on,
If it’s not fast,
Hold on,
Even if you can’t see it now,
Hold on,
It’s on it’s way,
Hold on
It’s ok,
The promise will not delay.
Hold on tight,
Close your eyes,
Get ready for the big surprise.
Promise,
God fulfills His Word,
Promise,
He keeps His covenant,
Promise,
is who He is.

“When I see the rainbow in the clouds, I will remember my covenant. It is a promise that I have made with every kind of living thing on the earth.’ Then God said to Noah, ‘The rainbow will show you that I will certainly keep My promise. I will keep My covenant that is between Me and everything that lives on the earth.’”
(Genesis 9:16-17 EASY)
