“My life’s hope and trust is in you, and you’ll never fail to rescue me!”

(Psalm 55:23 TPT)

For me, the last few days have been like standing in a rainfall of His presence. As I locked away in prayer to be with Jesus the other day, I saw a magnifying glass closely examining an hourglass.

Then I heard the Lord speak,

“I am emptying you of YOU, but you are not empty.”

I knew He was saying that He was removing layers of self and replacing it with Him–purifying and refining.

Hourglass Definition:

An hourglass (or sandglass, sand timer, sand clock or egg timer) is a device used to measure the passage of time. It comprises two glass bulbs connected vertically by a narrow neck that allows a regulated flow of a substance (historically sand) from the upper bulb to the lower one. Typically the upper and lower bulbs are symmetric so that the hourglass will measure the same duration regardless of orientation. (Wikipedia)

I then saw the hourglass flip over and begin to fill up with sand.

The Lord continued to speak and said,

“When My time has shifted, it flips only to begin again. That is what I’m doing in you and in many others. Your time has now restarted and it’s full and well. Do not look at the empty side, only see the fullness of new beginnings in Me. My grains of sand are as numerous as the stars and so is My time inside My looking glass—which is found inside of you. I have placed inside each of you a hope for the future. That hope has tilted and will now begin to pour out. It is the beginning of FRESH TIME. Shift into the new as hope deferred is turned into My promise. Promises are falling from My eyes as tear drops from the sky. My tears shall bring blossoms of fragrant flowers of hope as it brings life and love where there once was sickened hearts. Allow the looking glass to flip as time is renewed. Let it flip! Let the fresh rain pour over you. Don’t be afraid, for My promises are good–yes and amen.”

“Your future is bright and filled with a living hope that will never fade away.”

(Proverbs 23:18 TPT)

Although an hourglass normally represents time running out, that is not what I was shown. It was an emptying of self to be filled with the hope of Glory. It was a restart, not an ending.

“Their hopes shall be fulfilled, for God sees it all!”

(Psalm 9:18 TPT)

Then, I watched as Jesus took a magnifying glass and examined the pieces of sand inside the hourglass. I knew that the Lord was watching every grain fall and wanted to refresh each and every one.

As the magnifying glass moved closer to me, the pieces suddenly became larger before my eyes. Inside each piece of sand was a memory or moment of the past.

Jesus was crying as I watched the memories fall like the sand in front of me. I watched as He began to deep clean each grain and remove anything unwanted from the pieces of sand. He washed them with His tears. He then placed the pieces of sand back into the bottle so time could begin again.

He was watching each moment of sand as if it was a movie screen. As He watched, I saw His tears fall and stream down His cheek. He took the pain from those moments and restored them with the washing of His compassion and sacrifice. He was bathing the past in His love and made it all new. Washing over the past with His words of hope for the future. Like waves of liquid love in the shape of tear drops made of hope.

Once He restored all past time in the hourglass, He flipped it and the countdown began once more. It was a fresh restart. I was also able to see what was inside each of Jesus’ tears as if I was reading a label on the back of a food container. Like vitamins containing a percent of one or the other ingredient, so I was able to know the percent of the ingredients in His tears. Each tear infused the pieces of sand (or moments in time) with His goodness and power. Out of all that was placed in these pieces of sand inside the hourglass of time, hope had the highest percentage.

“Lord, you know and understand all the hopes of the humble and will hear their cries and comfort their hearts, helping them all!” (Psalm 10:17 TPT)

He was showing me that He was infusing the past with His hope for a bright future. He said that,

“Hope deferred is now a thing of the past.”

In this encounter, I knew that those who are allowing the flipping, shifting, and deep purifying to take place, they will suddenly begin to feel hope being washed over them in this hour.

The “new time” that was now falling through the hourglass left no room for deferred or delayed hope, but only times of refreshed and renewed promises. The Lord kept telling me it is now “suddenly” time.

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.”

(Proverbs 13:12 NIV)

An hourglass is a symbol of the passage of time. Unlike most other methods of measuring time, the hourglass concretely represents the present as being between the past and the future, and this has made it an enduring symbol of time itself. (Wikipedia)

“Suddenly” was not a past tense word He used for what was GOING to come, but as a present tense word for what was ALREADY here.

I speak that all deferred hope and delay shall not cross over into this new hour. That those who allow Him to shift them will receive sudden promises fulfilled and walk with heads held high drowning in hope. Hope shall cover them like a coat of beautiful colors for all to see. In this hour, I encourage everyone to allow Him to wash you in His tears of compassion and drown your sorrows as He turns them into hope. A sea of hope is yours in this suddenly hour of His time table.

“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”

(Romans 15:13 NLT)

Hope–an optimistic attitude based on expectation or desire.

Faith–believing and trusting in something you can’t see.

Hope without faith is dead! Hope and faith are like peanut butter and jelly—they go hand- in-hand. As hope returns to the hearts of the sick, faith shall be revived with power we have not seen. This surge of power from the Lord is the “Greater Things” we have yet to see.

During this vision, I knew that the power in which hope was flooding into these people's lives would awaken their faith level to rise at unprecedented heights. Through the faith came power beyond anything this earth has seen. Faith to move actual mountains. The hope that fueled the faith was the greater things that Jesus speaks of in John 14:12.

“I am telling you the truth: those who believe in me will do what I do—yes, they will do even greater things, because I am going to the Father.”

(John 14:12 GNT)

I watched as this hope sparked the flame and ignited the faith. The faith turned into a raging fire of power. The power and glory sparked a massive move that caused a global revival like nothing we have ever seen.

Lord Jesus, let hope flood over this earth like a roaring fire that will cause faith to arise and bring God's glory and power. Amen.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV)

“Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you!”

(Psalm 27:14 TPT)
