Warning of the Golden Egg

2020
I was shown on Easter 2019 that Easter 2020 would not look the same as in years past.
I won’t go into all the details, but basically everything we knew about Easter “church” services would no longer be the same. I saw church walls crumbling to the ground. Like an egg shell cracking and birthing the new.
Honestly, I had no idea how this would or could happen. Easter is the biggest church service of the year. It’s like the golden egg in the field of colorful eggs. It’s “the” day we prepare for and work towards as ministers. It takes weeks, months, and for some, even a year of preparation.
I saw things that looked so out of the box for what Easter was going to be. When Trump said he was going to open churches back up at Easter and end the coronavirus restrictions early, I knew that was NOT going to happen. Not because of a virus, but because this Easter was going to be like nothing we had ever seen before.
I saw how Heaven wanted to release new and creative ideas in this season to break the mold of the golden egg of Easter and birth the new baby chick that has been waiting to hatch.
I was shown a room that reminded me of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. In the movie, there is a room with geese that laid golden eggs. They put the eggs on a scale that tells them if the egg is a good egg or a bad egg. A little girl who always gets her way, decides she wants her dad to buy her a golden goose that lays these golden eggs. She throws a fit and says how she “wants it now” (the link to this scene is below). In the encounter, I stood in a room similar watching this scene play out in a different context.
What I was watching was people inside the church demanding they “want it all, they want the whole world, they wanted it now” and trying to make the Lord give them the golden eggs of Easter. He explained to me that although it looks like a golden egg on the outside, it may in fact be a bad egg on the inside. We needed to use the scales of Heaven to decipher and discern what is a fake front and false word versus an actual golden egg sent from God.
I saw how the Lord was going to literally shatter the egg shell so we could see what was underneath. The golden egg shell then turned into a church building as the walls shattered and crumbled revealing what was at the center. There were false prophets, corruption in ministries, and hidden things being exposed. I knew church as we knew it was over and would be shutting down.
He told me it had to fall so He can rebuild using the good eggs and birth His original design. I saw that it took a while to filter the good from the bad, but once it was done, it brought a great move of God as long as things never returned to the old way.
I believe this virus has revealed much as churches have been shut down and religious freedom threatened. The shell of old has been shattered and church as we know it is gone. We have awakened to the revelation that church no longer has to be within the four walls of a building. We are the church!
“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?”
(1 Corinthians 3:16 NIV)
A people are rising that can’t be bought or fooled. No longer will they accept shiny things, beg for more, and whine over stuff like a spoiled child. These that are waking up will not stand for petting or babysitting Christianity any longer. They can now see with eyes through the scales of Jesus. Separation has begun. The wheat from the tares, good eggs from the bad, real and the fake.
“I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.”
(Romans 16:17 NIV)
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”
(2 Timothy 4:3-4 NKJV)
I feel this has been a grace period. A warning and chance to make a shift or get left behind. A great move of God is coming and those awake and in tune with this new wave will encounter a fresh outpour of the Spirit. I encourage you to press into the heart of God and stay in step with what Heaven is speaking so you don’t miss what is being birthed. Let’s not go back to the normal way of church and step in time with Jesus as we march forward toward a great harvest.
