Now Go – Go into the city I have called you to – Now Go INTO Freedom…

One morning in the midst of an unforeseen shift, I found my car was playing Bethel’s song, We Step Into Freedom. The interesting thing about this song is it NEVER advanced. It played the chorus over and over again. Prior to this, my car would shuffle the worship music on my phone, never once repeating a song.
During these crazy world events, I had found myself, like many, looking for work. I was seeking the Lord for His divine alignment. I wanted to be placed only where He desired me to be placed. I searched and applied locally, in multiple states, and for different types of work. I looked near family, friends, and places unknown, with only one door opening. Amazingly, this door that opened was in a location He had highlighted to me over a year prior. Yet, I have to admit, due to not heeding a warning in a dream, fear, people pleasing, and feelings of obligations, my choices delayed the inevitable and made way for me to experience things the Lord never intended. The struggle that had been so real began to feel not so intense. As I surrendered control, the oil of His Glory allowed me to ease into the transition and migration ahead.
Not My Will … Send Me … Isaiah 6:8
“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ Then I said, ‘Here I am! Send me.’” Isaiah 6:8 (ESV)
With a step in September, it began, and with a leap in October, it ended. Little did I know, I would be placed exactly where the Lord could begin to manifest all that He had previously shown and spoken to myself and others. I also am aware that things I have spoken for years are manifesting. Life and death are in the power of the tongue – Proverbs 18:21. We were created in His image and God is the Creator, therefore we have the ability to create. When we speak, mountains move. What we say will happen, so speak life.
“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6 (ESV)

Jesus is faithful. He is faithful to finish the good work He has started in us. He is faithful to provide, even in the dark when we can’t see where we are heading. He is faithful in this season of multifaceted shifting, if we are willing to let Him take the reigns of our life, to align His sheep to His perfect will. I have witnessed this personally and corporately the last several months. There are many sensing the need to shift, whether jobs, friends, ministries, or hometowns as the Lord aligns them to their next assignment. I have experienced similarities with those I know, that as one of us goes through something, another will follow in parallel.
As I type this, I laugh, as I have prayed the prayer below for years over myself and family/friends, stating that anything outside His perfect will is less and unacceptable. Little did I know what I was praying, what I might endure or be subjected to because of this prayer:
Heavenly Father – Jesus, anything in thought, word, or deed, by myself or others, that does not align to your Word, I cast the harvest null and void and it shall not come to fruition. May it die like the root of the fig tree. Only YOUR PERFECT WILL be done, anything else is less and unacceptable. May I/We be ALL you created me/us to be, as anything else is less and unacceptable…

Interestingly, the song mentioned in the beginning changed the day I moved to my new location. Before, the lyrics were “We STEP into freedom,” but now I heard “We STEPPED into freedom.” This was verified by friends that assisted in my move. It stopped repeating exactly a month after it had begun. It stopped once I overcame the challenge of finding housing, moving, settling in, and having the PEACE OF TRULY KNOWING that I was in His Perfect Will. The song played from October 17th, 2020 to November 17th, 2020. Interestingly, ten is the number of tests, testimony, law, and responsibility, seventeen is victory, eleven is mystery, and twenty is distress/wisdom.
“In him we live and move and have our being” Acts 17:28 (ESV)
Furthermore, after getting settled in my new home, I am experiencing freedom I have never experienced in my life. IN HIM, I AM FREE to move and have my being. My life is full—full of joy. I have been set free from the fowler and the ripple effects of my past. The Lord is using the varied challenges I have experienced throughout my life to help others attain freedom and find TRUE wholeness IN Him. It is ALL JESUS, as the Lord is no respecter of persons, there is no favoritism in His Kingdom – Romans 2:11.
I encourage you to step. I encourage you to leap. It is an exciting time to be alive. His army is arising to manifest His Kingdom on the earth and to dwell in His glory and purposes alone. Jesus is my only and I encourage you to make Him yours.
