Winds Of Change

Ezekiel 37:9b (NLT), “This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come, Oh breath, from the four winds! Breathe into these dead bodies so they may live again.”

Do you hear the winds blowing?  Do you FEEL His Wind?  Can you HEAR the trumpets sounding?  The Almighty is breathing, breathing INTO His children.  He is there in what feels like a storm. He is sovereign. He is gentle, merciful, and FULL of abiding love. He is rearranging things for your benefit, according to His perfect will and His intended design. 

As I awoke this morning, I saw a pale grey ceramic mug that was shattered. I could see the base of the cup was intact, and that the sides were fragmented around the foundation.  Within the cup, a thick white cream remained.  Above the cup was an antique, white milk pitcher ready to pour out again.

Isaiah 64:8 (ESV), “But now, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter; we are all the work of Your hand.”

He is the Potter, He is Lord, He is Master.  We are the clay.  He is rearranging things for our benefit.  We are being transformed into His likeness that He may pour out again.  What He has poured in remains, not a drop is lost.  Cream is high in fat, rich, full of flavor and goodness… the tastiest part. Things on the outside may look different, yet His Truth remains.

Will you believe Truth? Will you surrender to His will? Will you take that next step and walk out of the old wineskin even when you cannot see where you are going? ARISE FEARLESS. He IS there guiding, preparing the way.

Romans 8:31 (NLT), “What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?”
